Silkies are not as sensitive as you think . They do fine in the winter and do not need extra heat . They do need shelter and shouldn't get soaking wet in the winter.
I was thinking about going to the Orange swap but its raining so didnt get a chance to pick out my chicks to take.Also wanted to take some 4 month old silkies but I guess I will wait for the Fork Union swap. What are you taking ?

Are you going to be breeding the German line? I only had three to hatch :( so I am trying to get a few more to go with them so I can at least get some started by next spring.
