With 5 you can give them all individual attention and have some friendly pets who make you breakfast! Your coop will need to be sturdy to handle the snowload - and you will want some light source so they lay thru winter for you - and you will want a heat source for the times when old man winter throws subzero temps your way.... Oh how exciting! It's almost like 'planning the baby's room' when you're a first time parent! And the different breeds!
