Turning Storage building into Coop--surrounding fence/net suggestions?

If you're making your own and using 5 gallon buckets, I think you'd need 4 buckets because you could only get 4 tubes in each. If you're making them out of a tote, it would depend on the size of the tote, but you could probably put 6-8 tubes in them thereby needing less of them. Not to burst your bubble, but don't expect the yarn to last more than 1 season. It will rot. Great effort though. Fishing line would probably be better to use. That's a wonderful size yard and appropriately sized yard for 30 standard chickens.

I did consider that the yarn wouldn't last too long. I'm hoping to redo with real netting next spring with the help of some kiddos. They just weren't available when I got my hawk scare and decided to go with the yarn temporarily...so far, so good!
