We got a dozen eggs this week so far

I am so thrilled to finally this week fill a dozen carton.

Actually it was 13 after this afternoon. I passed a few to neighbors who were shocked that there was such thing as a colored egg

I have five thus far. I want to parade around with a carton to show hubby there is some reward for what I've been doin', lol. Soon, I hope. Enjoy your eggs. And I bet the neighbors are super excited to have some of your girls eggs!

Those are some beautiful eggs!! Congrats on the full carton!! Only three of my 7 hens are laying so far and even with 2-3 eggs a day the family is eating them faster than the chickens can lay them. I feel like I will never have a full carton!

Hopefully the rest start laying soon so I can pass some onto my poor neighbors and bribe them not to complain about my loud silkie rooster, "Little bear". He may be little but he is loud and likes to crow throughout the day.
