Your 2024 Garden

Didn't get the trellis higher on the tomatoes and they really need another wrap around them but we did get it done on our eggplant and peppers. They really needed it too. Depending on weather I hope we can get the tomatoes done tomorrow afternoon. If not it is a must do project for Monday afternoon. To tired do start tomato and pepper seed tonight so that is a few minute job for early in the morning before I get nappy headed after I eat lunch.

Trellis is one line higher now. Even with two of us working at it the wind in my sails sure got low while we did it. When we came back inside I sat in my chair and immediately went to sleep for an hour and a half nap.

We got about 3/8-1/2" of rain last night. Everything looks better!

Except the row of bush beans. My 3-4" high plants are now gnawed on, 1" stubby stems.

It has to be something small. No footprints. But whatever it was ate the entire row!

Hopeful for a shower this morning. I will still need to water the plants in the greenhouse. More chances for rain the next couple days. We need some.

No gardening yesterday. Cook a ham, fresh cabbage and potatoes from the garden.

@Sally Last year I had bunnies sneaking through my fence. They headed straight to the green beans. Those little rascals can get through the tiniest places.
