    I have had the premier one poultry netting around my coop for 3 years and have, knock on wood, not lost any chickens to predators. It works amazingly. Also do not just staple the 1/4 in hard ware cloth, secure it with fender washers and screws. So sorry for your loss.

    And after a few weeks I give them a few scrambled eggs because it's good for them, helps them bond with me too😊and come when called.They learn to be as excited to see you as the rest of the flock...but my chickens are treated as pets.

    I always feed mother and chicks starter grower feed only. The extra nutrients in it helps the mom recover from the effects of brooding on her body over the past 21 days. I keep them separate from flock, but where they can still see the flock with my set up, until integration time.

    Yep, he only has color in common, lol. He doesn't sit still long enough to gain weight yet. Eats & eats and bounces off the walls, furniture.,. everything. But when he does get tired he's a sweet, snuggler.
