    Yep, chippy is a boy. Looked like a pullet at the beginning. I'm not used to seeing males with that color pattern.

    Okay, thanks for the clarification on the EEs, & Cochin. You do have a Buff Cochin rooster according to your list at the beginning. Buff X Black can create some interesting results, I've done quite abit of breeding of this combination.

    She looks partridge, & the comb seems to be a modified pea comb. So maybe EE X Buff Cochin? In the case of Buff, she maybe expressing some Columbian influence. Like this girl.

    I think chippy is just fast to mature, the pattern looks female specific, though is splotchy.(Forgot, what were the parents?) The black one's are still iffy. More so with the last one. The first black one may be a pullet.

    Yes, Black Sumatras, Silkies, & Buff Orpingtons are a few. Buff Orpingtons were my first I practiced on.

    Not yet. I was gonna make an article demonstrating my method. I have two chicks(Pictures), that had the same parents I can share. Both are of fast feathering trait.

    Only birds I don't sex with this method is sex linked crosses, like the sex linked barring/crosses, or red Sex-link, black Sex-link types. Since they're very obvious.

    I don't go by charts, though they can be handy depending on source.
