    Wanting to get new chicks/wondering if I can put them directly in the coop in a separate brooding box. Some say wait because of diseases. My set up

    I keep mine in for 1-2 weeks, then I brood them in a coop until they out grow their brooder, usually another two weeks. Then a section off a corner fie them to sleep and they mingle with the older gals. Mine are 4 weeks old and fairly integrated.
