It's just been to nasty out to do anything. I finally bought myself a chainsaw. I have just been planting seeds inside and starting to really get planning for spring. Between the garden and building a rabbit area a pond for the Ducks and now a catfish area I'm in over my head and am enjoying...
If you have a dollar tree nearby. They have boxes of pollinator seeds. They have different mixes. I took the tiller and ran some designs in the front lawn last year. So I have almost like a winding path of wild flowers gardens in the front. This year we are going to do about an acre of land.
Mint is one of my favorite herbs. The homemade crackers turned out great, don't think I will ever buy store bought again. My son made plain hummus t to go along with them. We couldn't get out even with the four wheelers. I remembered parsley works well for nausea. So been drinking parsley tea...
I have eaten myself out of crackers I didn't realize how long we would be stuck. I looked up making homemade crackers, they are in the oven now. The boys are going to try and make it up to the gas station on the four wheeler to get some supplies and we just lost power. Yippee yippee. I almost...
Having to have the ducks in the house is kinda bad. But their tootsies were getting bad and we couldn't keep water for them without it freezing. It seems like smells push it way to far. The good thing I:sick:sick quit smoking because I couldn't handle the smell, now if I could just get everyone...
I would but we are snowed and iced in. Our Churches are even close because most of us can't get out of our own driveways and more snow is heading our way. I thought I bought enough ginger to make ginger ale and candy. I didn't realize how nauseous I would be.
I need some help from my gardening/herb people. We have been snowed/iced in and no change of getting out till maybe Tuesday. I hardly ever take any kind of pills, even fever reducers are hand made teas around here. So I m really really having a hard time with the chemo pills and chemo in...
Thanks for the hugs,. I love hugs. We didn't make soup today. We picked some kale, broccoli and cabbage from the back room and made cold slaw and ribs. We are literally snowed and iced in. How is everyone else doing with this crazy weather? Dreaming of spring and working in the garden.
Had surgery yesterday, they think they got all the cancer. Sitting reading posts and putting seeds in planting order. Ice storm here. Thinking I might pull out some frozen veggies and pick some from the back room and make homemade vegetable soup today. With homemade flat bread.
Oh trust me, I plant crazy style I even planted an orchard this fall on one of the properties.
Anyone know anything about digging a pond by hand? My babies stay right by my side when I am outside. They mean so much to me. I would like to give them something a little more than a bunch of kiddie...
I just can't seem to help myself. Got back from a nasty nasty nasty nasty deployment, found out I was out of remission, THUS BEING FORCED TO RETIRE,been really cold here. So what would any of you do????

I was with my cousin who is 65 years young, in Ohio County Kentucky and we saw this. Now both of us have never seen it before. Which really shocked us. Any ideaso_O:barnie:confused:
Neither of us are used to being stumped normally we both know or one knows and teases the other
Pouring rain here so against my better judgement because I don't like to do anything on Sundays. I have several pots of foraged wild mushroom soup going from mushrooms gathered through out the year, along with other odds and ends.
