Our adventure continues!
Its been a whirlwind of change for us. Looks like we timed the sale of our ranch right. We got a full offer just 6 days on the market. The nice folks buying are taking the animals too. We feel very confident that our critters will continue lead healthy and happy lives...
Thanks so much for this encouraging reply. I agree with “I figured my improvements made sale price better and I gave next person something amazing to work with.” We got a full price offer in 6 days , 2 showings. The buyer wants to continue with the work i have done and expand upon it. Hes...
Doing clean up in the gardens. Thats what it has come to now. Thinking I might plant the corn that i germinated from seed and carried in and out everyday as it grew into very nice little plants. I dont know if ill have room for a corn crop. I will be taking many of the tomatoes squash, egg...
So..... due to circumstances in the community we live in my husband and i feel we have no choice but to sell our beautiful ranch. Its been days of tears and not a lot of sleep. We don’t know if we can find a place to rent that will allow us to keep our goats and chickens but were are trying...
Suns trying to come out. I have some very sad looking sweet potato slips that I got from Guernys and they really need to get in the ground but i feel its too cold for them . I may just pot them up for a couple weeks then plant them out . They arrived in such bad condition, not sure if they...
Not raining here but cloudy, drizzly and cold. Did my rounds and all is well with new starts and such. Critters don't mind the cold. Future pumpkin patch looking good. Don't mind a day inside. Lets me get to needed puter work , Including adding photos the the BYC contests! Here's a little...

Same about randoms here! I have an outreach program where I get plants to people . I schedule a date to meet at a nursery I go to for folks to pick them up. I don’t sell them so I feel comfortable doing this at a nursery. But I get to go and gawk at plants !
Shoudnt be hard to sell your plants without going through so much work. It’s work enough to grow them. I’d buy em if I lived near you. Social media is a good way to sell . FB garden sites in your area is where I’d start after BYC OF COURSE! Life’s to short to spend time not in your garden!
Do your Toms have a lot of real leaves? And will your temps stay around at least 50 degrees? If so they shud be good to go. Got to harden them off if they’ve been inside out of the elements.
sounds like you had a good busy day and sounds Iike Hubs needs some coaching. Mine learns pretty fast...
Busy day in the yard. Added a brick edging to the walkway to the studio(been wanting to do that for years) Bricks are freebies from a friend who brought them to us from Mexico. And I found a spot for Spidey. We also got the trellis structures up around the new free back up generator and...
Greenhouse beds done. amended, seeds sewn and starts planted.
