With just the information above, I'd guess mites or bugs of some kind. If she has them around her belly, the other chicken may be picking them off her.
I'd check around her vent area and see what you can see. For either mites or an egg bound chicken - a warm bath is a good start.

Does anyone have day-old chicks or soon to hatch chicks in the Seattle area? I have a broody that won't quit and would love to purchase two or three day-old chicks, bantams or LF.

A friend had a bunch of extra catnip, and I had read that it was one of the herbs good for nestboxes.
So I put a bunch in half of the egg laying nestboxes, so the chickens could choose herb box or non herb box. They all chose the herb boxes

I only see rule #7.
7. Do not advertise your products or services outside of the appropriate Buy Sell Trade (BST) areas of the forum.
I did not realize that it applied to chickens. Guess I do now.
We're no longer allowed to offer to purchase or sell birds?
Isn't that why we have a local forum?
This rule really doesn't make sense, and I cannot find where it is posted that we're not allowed to.

IMO, if you want pet chickens that are lap chickens, you either need to get friendly chickens (that someone else has spent a lot of time with) or hatch your own and spend a lot of time with them.
There are also more docile breeds, Salmon Faverolle comes to mind. My most friendly chickens are...
