Just looking at the top of her foot looks like there might be a broken bone see the left of the toe where it is jutting out a little. An x-ray would be the only way of knowing for sure. It could just be infection how does that part of the foot feel?

Are you sure there isn't a broken bone? If an infection the Baytril should help. What does the bottom look like any change?

Keeping it on over night is better than not at all, they also make boots our of neoprene for poultry even when I use one of them I still have to vet wrap where they velcro attaches. One of mine lost her boot out on their property and I never did find it.

Something is defiantly going on in there either infection or an injury. Did you examine the foot for a cut, splinter, thorn?
