    What do you call this?

OK. I think I mainly understand now. Thank you!! I will be looking for a lavender rooster to use for next year instead of this Isabel one. Maybe I will try 2 pens, one with the new rooster and one breeding back and see which is better. I know it's gonna take awhile to get where I want but I'm...

The way I understand is, and correct me if I'm wrong here, Roo to Hen... *Lavender to Lavender = Lavender *Lavender Barred Roo to Lavender Hen = Barred male...

    What do you call this?

The babies are all gorgeous and 100% have been lavender. I have Pretty Boy, the lavender cuckoo ee in with 2 lavender ee hens and 2 lavender Ameraucana hens. I don't understand anything having to do with poultry genetics but I want to improve on these. I have a new true Ameraucana rooster to...

    Lavender or Isabel Ameraucana?

I know it is not the greatest pic, it's from my cell phone and was very cloudy out all day today. I just got this guy today, he is definitely an Ameraucana, he's got the pea comb and slate legs like my other Ameraucanas. What I'm needing to know is if he's Isabel or what? He is lavender with...

    Yellow Lavender Orpingtons?

She got to about 4 months old and was gorgeous, definitely was Isabel. And then a raccoon got her and that was that. I've had a lot of predator problems and finally got 2 LGD and solved that problem. A little too late tho 😞

    What do you call this?

Chicken math is REAL!! I keep buying chicks and poults I don't need when I already have more than enough of my own that I'm keeping, lol. I've got 6 lavender ee hens in with him so I will have a steady supply for a long while. I have 2 big hatches on the 7th and 14th of April

    What do you call this?

I'm only 1.5 hours to the border North of Huntsville. I had a hard time finding anyone that had any lavender ee's but I finally found a site online. $28 straight run, $36 pullet...that's insane! I'm selling mine for $6 straight run.

    What do you call this?

Chance of barring maybe? I usually just put lavender ee with pics and sell out immediately. I think they are really pretty and a happy accident that they weren't the lavender orpingtons I thought they were when I bought the eggs
