It’s a reality of life with livestock that there will be many time when you have dead-stock. I have lost count of the horses that have passed away, and this oases past week I have had Larry and the two babies die. The best we can do is do the best we can for our animals. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

The last of the chicks to hatch Final silkie count is 4, 3 from Fluffy, and 1 from Curly.

All four of the silkie eggs have hatched, the fifth egg stopped developing half way through. So only one Curly chick and three Fluffy babies. So disappointed no Henny or Marty chicks 😢 But glad for some silkies.

Awww snuggled up with their big sisters wee chicken is getting wattles. I fear it’s a cockerel 😳
