we think this approx 13 week old Silkie is a Cockerel but would like your opinions The other is a Silkie with a Frizzle cross but came out with smooth feathers. What gender do you think ? It is about 14weeks of age now. Thank you for any help :)

Thanks, yes we rather try fix the possible problem ourselves. This is the first time we've seen a discharge like this on a chick. The chick is alone with it's mother hen. No other chicks or adult chooks are near them.

No it's not blood. I had to check as when I was uploading the photos it looked like blood. The red is a reflection of the red tub we had salty water in : - )
