Update. We now get 15-20 eggs a day. We have so many eggs! We decided to incubate some of our own eggs. We took 6 from our light brahmas and 6 from our cream legbars. The roo is a cream legbar. Today is lock down day and we have 2 pips, one of each. After week 1, only one egg had no development.

Day 9 from the start of laying and this morning we had 2 eggs! Come spring/summer everyone should be laying and I might not be as excited (22 hens that should lay 250-300+ per year) lol. But for now, we have 10 eggs in just over a week and I'm so happy!

We got our first egg today! A couple of our hens have started singing, we started hearing them on Christmas eve. We struggled a bit with the wet and muddy run, but we're recommend horse stall pellets, and they worked.
