I had one batch last summer with pasty butt issues so gave them Hydro-Hen (probiotics/electrolytes) and that cleared it up or coincidence did. Since then, I've always gave that in their water on Day 2 and again on Day 4 or 5. I'll get one pasty butt once in a while but it's rather rare.
I just saw @TwoCrows popped up when I left my reply and OMG they were almost identical so I quick changed mine. The one you quoted was after I changed it. Before, it was dang near identical lol. Great minds think alike I guess! Both of us, well, we all are, excited to see those grow up!
Tink, that first one I think had a "P" on the egg if you happened to notice? I had sent one egg I knew my one partridge silkie laid. I don't believe chicks from these ones in the pen would pop out a striped chick, but I could be wrong.

I do believe that is a mauve splash pullet, but could be a chocolate splash pullet. The only other option for a chick that light-colored coming from these is if it was a blue splash cockerel but that sure doesn't look blue to me.
It's probably too late now, but I took a thick cotton wash rag, rolled it up, shoved it in one of the reservoirs, and poured distilled water on it to soak it good.
I never heard of anyone shipping via UPS so I never checked it out. We have a UPS pickup at one of the hardware stores I could check with about it, or just go online and research shipping that way. It's sure worth a shot as USPS shipping has cost us both a lot of eggs and $$!
