I'm actually getting buffs since they're less likely to get predated than the whites. That being said, I have White eggs in the incubator (got them at auction), but only 5 out of the 12 developed.
And now, back to our regularly scheduled shenanigans!
Fun Fact: The Partridge isn't actually a Chantecler. It was developed at the other end of the country by someone else and when he presented the bird to the poultry association it was decided to lump it in with the Chantelers.
Yes! Although I'm still yet to get mine, I'm picking them up next week. And I have some eggs in the incubator.
But they handle hot, cold, humid, dry, free range OR cooped, good layers AND meat birds. Perfect for my little homestead!
