I've picked up and examined all my chicks. They all have feathers on their back but combs differing in color from yellow to pink. My favorite, a beautiful tame Orpington looks more like a rooster every day. Big long legs more coloring in her? comb. I do hope she is not a rooster.

One of my chicks has been aggressive from the beginning (now, sadly, is isolated in a separate brooder). She is five weeks old now. Shows no physical signs of gender distinction. Has anyone seen rooster behavior at a young age? I've found someone who will take her but not if she is roo?
