My stupid comb/carnation comb BC hen is going to a new home today, sold her for $30 with the knowledge that she shouldn't be used for breeding.

He looks wide in the chest and seems to be pretty full, too. He looks like he'll mature into a nice sized bird. If he were mine I would want to see more color on him already though.

If only, my girls don't have a roo to call their own. So I don't have anything fertile here. Maybe I should look into acquiring a cockerel though, these dark eggs have me drooling. I didn't have the Marans bug before now... but...
