If it's been over 24 hrs since internal pip I would do a safety hole but you'll need to candle to see if the duckling has pipped into the air cell. @New duck mommy 2021 knows more about this than I, I let my Muscovy do the hatching here.

I can hear them if I put the egg up to my ear. Are there any more external pips? When did you candle last?

Yes that is perfect just make sure to supplement with something like Nutritional yeast so they get a good amount of Niacin 1Tablespoon to each cup of food you offer them.

Does any where on the bag say for ducklings ? I don't think I have ever seen just duck crumble before.

I use old window screens for the top and weigh them down with 2X4 cut to size. Still might not work with cats.

I use an Xlarge dog crate the solid plastic ones tie wrap top and bottom and use it as a brooder so I think your ducklings will be able to figure it out you will want to give them a few days with everything on one side then move feed and water to the other tote. They will need the space or the...
