we want to get ready for our chicks that we are getting soon. which food is healthy for them?

The very best thing is to start them on chick starter for the first 3 weeks then switch to a grower for the next 12 wks or so. Seems where I am that there is no 'grower' available, so I have them on a feed called 'start and grow'. You can get chick starter in medicated or non-medicated forms, depending on whether or not your chicks were vaccinated for coccidiosis (sp?).
