Lockdown temp adjust

Eggs are lockdown a day early one poult was hatching this morning. Innovators 4250 pulled the turner out eggs laying on metal rack. Eggs are laying lower in the incubator and temps are reading 95.5 to 97. Humidity mid 60s. I try to drop the temp for lockdown but is this to much temp drop. This reading is from calibrated thermometer laying on floor of incubator not at top of egg.

You want to read the temp at the top of the egg. The sites that call for a lower temp at lockdown usually call for one degree lower than the incubation temperature.

Many of us do not reduce the temp at lockdown.
