"I'm using a Sony camcorder. Yes, most camcorders
will work if you can run them without it shutting off.
I have
to take my tape out. You'll need a video card in your
computer that will take video in. I'm using a ATI 8500
all in one. If your computer needs a video card update
then buy a good one and you won't have problems. Good
video cards can be found for less than $100. I'm feeding
the video into my computer with 75 ohm coax cable,
so you can run the camera hundreds of feet away. I
have
sound too, but don't bother with that very often. There
are wireless systems too that work, so that's a option.
It's easy to set up if you're ok messing with computers
and know some basics."
