I don’t need any duckling but always love the pictures! His thread is pretty inactive so I thought I’d comment and maybe bump your post! I hope you find great homes for them all.
I know it’s been a little while, but the mobile but her info is on Craigslist right now. If anyone needs it I’ve tried to copy the link here.

If you are indeed referencing harvesting them, there is a mobile butcher that serves the KC area. I’ve never had to use them so I cannot speak to quality, price, or anything. I can’t seem to find the info now (of course), but it is advertised on Craigslist fairly often.
No horror stories (only have had my original hens so far), but a question. I see people saying they get day old chicks and then put under a broody if they don’t have fertilized eggs, how would that quarantine situation work?
Today is day two of sitting, she slept in the nest box last night as far as I can tell.
I’m not sure eggs on the 28th would work out either. I also don’t want you to waste eggs if she isn’t going to see this thing through. I appreciate the offer though!
Hello all! I am technically in Kansas, but very near the state line. I potentially have my first broody hen and am looking for local options. I would love to either get a chick or two in a couple of weeks or get a few eggs to put under her soon. Anyone have anything available?
