Three Bird Farm is a small farm in Midcoast Maine. Existing somewhere betwixt a hobby farm and a homestead, our focus is producing our own fruit, vegetables and eggs, supporting native wildlife, and finding new ways to integrate our lives better with the land and its history, as well as our community.

Three Bird Farm is also home to the Karen Talbot Art Gallery & Studio, where award-winning artist and scientific illustrator Karen Talbot shows her work and teaches workshops. The other half of the human population on Three Bird Farm is Ret Talbot, a journalist and science writer who primarily covers fisheries at the intersection of science and sustainability.

We added ducks to the mix at Three Bird in the spring of 2017, but we've been longtime BYC lurkers. Thanks for all the advice!
