Wow it's been a minute since I did an update here. I've been super busy with getting my chicken tractors build and working on a new coop with breeding pens. From the first group I have separated out all the boys, and they are now in a Suscovich style chicken tractor. They are around 11 weeks now...

I had my tomato starts outside and lost about 1/2 of them even covered *sigh* I really knew better. We always seem to get a late frost in April when I try to garden.

The chick is roughly 1 day old now, in the picture it was roughly 6 hours old. If it's still like that when I get home this evening I will. The picture was from last night, I didn't think to check it this morning.

The next batch hatched! This batch is a mixed bag because I just grabbed a bunch of eggs from the chicken tractor that had the freedom ranger hens when I thought my freedom ranger rooster had hurt himself. Luckily he recovered, but the eggs had still been set. So this is a mix of Freedom...
