Thank you for the response. I only have the one Tom which is the Bourbon Red and I purchased him from ideal. However, the hens were from a private breeder so I guess there is a chance that they aren’t 100% what he said they are. He told me Sweetgrass or they also are known as fall fire.
I just hatched four poults from a Bourbon red Tom and Sweetgrass hens. Two of the poults are white and two look like chipmunks. I was wondering if anyone knows if these are sex linked.
Owning animals you are not permitted to have just because you want them and will eventually be forced to surrender is selfish and cruel to the animal. If you care for animals the way you say you do then save your money, buy a home where you are permitted to own the animals you want, and do it...

Anyone in south eastern Pa selling any bourbon red turkeys? Ordered 10 from a hatchery and all but 2 died and now I have 3 more roosters that were “ packing peanuts”. I don’t want to try and order from them again and not have them live and gain more roosters.
We received a few random chicks from ideal poultry as “ packing peanuts “ for the turkeys we ordered. I was wondering what this little chipmunk could be. I think Easter egger. Any thoughts?
Ordered 10 bourbon reds from ideal poultry and 6 were doa. 2 more died the next day… now we have 4 chicks of random breeds that we didn’t order that were “packing peanuts”…. Of course the kids love them so they’ll eventually be added to our flock. I guess it’s just an excuse for another coop...
