I have a stunning Black Jersey cockerel that is about 6 months old. Would anyone want him? His dad is a stunner and is HUGE. I can't keep him and would like to not have him end up on the dinner...

He's half Jersey Giant and looks like one. Should grow to 10lb or more since dad is 13+lbs.

Yes! My JG girls are noticeably larger than their flockmates. This holds true with my other mixed breeds that are half JG (I have a JG roo that is 13lbs and stands at over 25"). They are all very good sized. I love my jersey girls and can't get enough of them.
All, I have two half Jersey Giant baby roos (about 8 weeks old, hatched mid-January) if anyone is interested. Free to a good home. Their dad is a stunning jersey that stands at about 2 1/2 feet tall.
For my brooding girls, I bring them a couple of handfuls of mealworms each day and raw oats for breakfast. I know some people say don't feed them while they're on the nest, but so far I've not had issues with them pooping in the nesting box. It really helped to keep my girls healthy and going.
