I have the same thing for sale! We hatched way too many this year. I would rather have them all go to someone who loves the breed and wants to continue improving it rather than someone who just wants a pretty chicken.
Thanks so much. This was a test hatch for fertility and to see if I had chosen the best cockerel to give me the improvements I'm looking for. I figured that the 4 toe was something that would pop up on occasion, but didn't know if it was more of a fluke that happens from the unknown genetics...
Breeding question for you more experienced in Faverolles than me :) I have four LF pullets and a cockerel that I hatched from SQ eggs from a breeder in NV. All are of great type and structure, but a couple of the pullets have a smudgy beard and the cockerel's tail set isn't what I really want...
I ordered eggs from a breeder in NM and hatched out seven gorgeous chicks in January. The three cockerels are growing up nicely and I have selected the best one to go in the breeding pen based on how well he meets SOP.

My box came today!!!! I'm so excited!! The colors are great and the squares look wonderful! Can't wait to put it all together :) Thanks so much for coordinating this!
We have a Silkie like that. Sweet as can be......unless she's broody. When I hear that growl from her I respect it and toss some corn to her. She is a mean broody but keeps her babies safe.
That's one of the things I find so intriguing about this breed. LOL Of course, we also have a frizzled naked neck Silkie. The strange ones will fit in well here. :)
