hi, just returned from VA i came tonight so i put the eggs on lock down on 18th day of incubation (at the end of the day) and hopefully they will hatch in 3 days!
thanks for all the help! :love
hi,
i'm leaving town for a few days, and was wondering if i could do lock down one day later then the usual date for lockdown
because i won't be here unfortunately for the 18th day of incubation....
would it hurt the eggs? :hmm
thanks a lot!
my incubator has an alarm if it falls below 30 humidity
but somehow it didn't alarm me when humidity dropped to 20
maybe i was in deep sleep or something... LOL 😄
hi,
this is my first time hatching chicken eggs, and the straw that connects the water to the incubator slipped out overnight, and the humidity went down to 20 😭
will the chicks still hatch?? :fl
PLEASE HELP, thanks!
the incubator says it's 0.1 to 0.2 degrees accurate
the thermometer says it's 0.5 to 1 degree accurate
so i kinda trust the incubator more bc of better accuracy but idk.... :idunno
also the thermometer says it's 101.3 but the incubator says it's 99.5...
first time incubating chicken eggs, got a thermometer and it's accuracy is 0.5 i read it and it showed to be 98 degrees it was like this until i fixed the temp
will the eggs still hatch? :fl thanks!
update:she candled them and they were developing... 😁
she said the ones she gave me were the first ones so might as well try again...
i'll see how it goes!:fl
oh l'm so sorry! I just saw this, i do know how to identify the bullseye but, i already disposed them, my neighbor said she'll incubate them herself and see if they'll hatch so i'll keep u updated if her eggs hatch or not, thank u!
