    What kind of sand is okay for chicken run?

    I was going to ask that same question. I had read how pleased this person was using sand and the odor control. Sand sounds good to me, wet sand would be better then wet dirt / mud.

    WOW I thought I had my watering system thought out -- I don't even have a coop yet - too much of a planner I guess. I'm going with water safe 15 gal plastic drum plumbed through pvc to the area I've decided on ad use nipples for the chickens. I got the idea from BYC , looked good.
