Thanks donrae and starrisky! I was worried the larger one was a roo because she grew so much faster and had a deep duck sounding cluck. LOL. You guys think the smaller one will catch up eventually? She is eating well.

I have 2 blue Maran. One was stunted from eating some great stuff I think. Her new name is blue girl $155 due to my vet bill LOL. I'm not sure on the gender of the larger one. Not sure exactly how old they are. 8-10 weeks maybe. Any guesses?

He turned out to be quite beautiful. Found him a good home with 9 of his own hens. He's happy.

So my sneaky cream legbar hen hatched out 5 babies under a bush. Dad is also a cream legbar. Only one chick is hers. I originally thought they were from either Wyandotte or barred rock but not so sure now. The other 4 could be from silver laced Wyandotte, golden laced Wyandotte, Easter eager...

These were at 2-3weeks. One is a purebred CCL.

Anyone know what a CCL male and either silver laced wyandotte or bared rock will look like? I had a sneaky hen hatch our 5 babies on me in the bushes! 4 are black with a little white on chest, 2 have yellow legs and rose combs( guessing wyandotte) the other have darker legs and tiny dark combs...

you have any pics? i had a broody hen hatch out some CL-dad with silver laced wyandot hen I think, just curious what they will look like. I think i have a couple bared rock mises too.

Chlorine Dioxide is used commercially for disinfecting and water treatment. Try searching under its chemical name.
