Currently on our second attempt at keeping chickens. The first attempt lasted just over a year and then we were hit badly by multiple predators on 4 different occasions. We are back at it with a set of 2 barred rocks, 2 Easter Eggers, and 4 Cornish broilers. We hope to eventually step out of the world of chickens (once we get the hang of things) and bring in more livestock. We are excited to raise meat birds and be on the road to self-sufficiency!
