What breed and gender are these coturnix quail?

Okay, so I may have forgotten some important information as to their breed. The black one hatched out of a completely blue egg, and the rest hatched out of mint chip colored eggs

What breed and gender are these coturnix quail?

I got 24 coturnix quail hatching eggs on July 9th, and they hatxhed on July 27th or 28th. I got them from a breeder with all kinds of quail, so they're basically random. Now, today, I have 5, they are just over 6 weeks old, and I have no idea what breed or genders they could be, I have never had...

    Silkies from Ideal Poultry

Ideal definitely doesn't have the best silkies, I've gotten some from cackle and ideal, I only have one from cackle left, and she has way better genetics, including an awesome beard, and a very well defined hat. Some of the silkies from ideal do have beards and some don't, it's about 50/50

    Gambel chick with injured leg

your loss, if it just had food and water in a tiny area and left alone it would have healed, it's not going to eat from the stress of you handling it and it being alone from it's friends.

    Gambel chick with injured leg

Just give it as small of a space as you can, with food and water as close as possible to limit the use of its leg, and Nature will work itself out.

Hen pecking at incubated chicks that I put under her

Just listen to them and put it under her at night, she most likely won't kill it.

    Limping peacock (swolen knee joint????)

Likely not, catching him is quite difficult, and very stressful for him, as well. On top of that, I do not have a second pair of hands to take the picture, as I cannot hold him with one hand.

    Limping peacock (swolen knee joint????)

I recently got 4 peacocks and one of them has a limp, I picked him up several times to carefully examine his leg, he has no breaks, no bumblefoot, no apparent Injuries. The only thing he has different is in his knee joint, it seems like the joint is bigger and much different than compared to the...
