I am a 2nd career nursing student in New Orleans, currently using 100% of my willpower to stem the tide of chicken math. I have dreams of moving back to Appalachia and keeping a hobby farm with chickens, ducks, alpacas, bees, and very old dogs. I want yaks, but only if I win the lottery.
I also live with 2 dogs, a toddler, and the world's most tolerant spouse. My 3-legged mutt, Grover Cleveland, thinks he's a rooster, and howls along when the ladies sing an egg song. Other mutt, Birdie June, thinks the chickens are dinosaurs and is perpetually terrified of them.

I am grateful to this community for its warmth and excellent advice.
