would start by spraying a light bleach solution on the ground in your pen,And keep pools and pond water changed every 3 days for a couple weeks.Either way this is good and wont hurt as old food particles in the groud is where they can pick it up from.Sounds like a bout with botulism or something...

They do best paired up because they tend to lay around the same time so you may get infertile eggs and also the drake is loyal to the hen he is with. However once his hen is setting he may service another. So 2 ....tops and thats providing if all went as planned, haha.
