    Lash Egg (Viral Salpingitis)

Update on Tina. As of yesterday she started eating some normal organic layer crumbles out of my hand! For the last three weeks she's had zero interest in the normal food. Also normal looking poops and no lash eggs. We're still not out of the woods yet but this is definitely a positive sign!

Good idea to get your hands on some antibiotics. Do you have an avian vet nearby?

Hen not eating since Suprelorin implant

All, I'm dealing with this issue right now. My silkie, Tina, had the implant at the vet. We are trying to deal with a lash egg. I am also doing injectable antibiotics (Zosyn) twice per day for 7 days. You've got to tube feed your chickens. Syringe feeding won't be enough and tube feeding is...

    Mites & Revolution (Selamectin)

I have used the Revolution for Puppies and Kittens in the past for one hen who scratches off all the feathers in a ring around her neck. In the past I'd tried deworming and several other things with no luck. I had never seen mites and lice on her but when I used the Selamectin she was better...

    Lash egg and leaking vent

Contact Dr Jeanne to make sure you get the dosages correct. Two capsules a day is way too much. Two capsules lasts me quite a few days and you have to dilute it to the correct strength! You can go to any drugstore and ask them for a syringe.

    Lash Egg (Viral Salpingitis)

No! That is WAY too much! You must dilute it first and give the chicken the correct dosage for weight. Two capsules lasts me for days!!!!!!!!! It's also a dose every twelve hours. That's twice per day. You also need to make sure the strength of the antibiotics you get matches what I got or you...
