Yea I wouldn't use a live rabbit either. I did more training with Nitro as she got older just to make sure. I used a shock collar but have since learning better training methods and I don't use a shock collar anymore. I do believe though that there are things that can be taught with a shock...
So as you know, this story involves a dead rabbit but the reason for telling this story is not to mourn the death of my favorite rabbit; I'm already doing that on my own.
First I should introduce my dogs.
Nitro is a year old Rottweiler and when I got her at 11 weeks, having never seen small...
Yesss that would sooo weird. But same as Butterscotch, I have alot of respect for people who have anything to do with training service dogs. And I feel like seeing eye dogs are the king of all dogs lol. I'm currently training my rottie to be a therapy dog and its sure an eye opener!
So sorry about Wilbur but excited for y'all about Bailey! He's sooo adorable and i love Danes!
We lost our 12 yo Boxer, Benjamin, in October and about a week after got a Boxer puppy and named him Bailey! (Surprisingly people kinda hated on us for getting another dog so soon and it made me...

When we got a family dog(Boxer), my mom bought him Purina One. I...
Good evening everyone! I have bred rabbits for about 2 years now. I have a Mini Rex pair and a Holland Lop pair. Recently I haven't been able to easily sell the babies and it's made me decide to stop breeding rabbits. I would like to get both pairs fixed and keep them all together in a huge...
I've been keeping it in a cardboard box in my room with a heating pad underneath. The lid on the box is slightly propped open and I have a temperature gun nearby to carefully monitor the temperature and make sure it stays at 100°F. I made a circle out of a rag to make a nest in the midst of hay...
Would y'all try to bottle feed it? I know there's those that will pry say its the survival of the fittest and weak rabbits need to be called but... I'm not of that theory. I'm just wondering if it would even have more than a 50% chance of living if I try to bottle feed it.
