Out of all my ducks my pekins are the most friendly. If they are bonded with you and already friendly I would say keep those. All are adorable!

. I have one silkie hen and one roo. I am hoping that I can get some cool mixes. They are the only chickens with different feather.

I set 8 barnyard mix eggs with some NN eggs on Friday. I am addicted to hatching!

LOL. I have luckily never had a mean roo. I had an unfriendly one. Skittish and flighty but not mean.

That is why I love silkie Roosters. They are so calm and friendly, at least in my experience. I use to have two at the same time with a larger roo. They never fought.

They were from a pen with both silkie and showgirls and it was the luck of the draw. I have one NN girl, one silkie girl and a silkie Roo (silkies are still young), Plus the 5 that just hatched and some NN eggs coming. I WILL GET MY SHOWGIRLS!!! lol

My silki eggs hatched. 5 made it in lockdown and all 5 hatched. None were showgirls. The two mixes I hatched look all grown up. They should lay eggs very soon. The younger mixes are doing great as well.Growing like weeds!

Please listen, no here wants to see these ducks get killed. Re-home them and let them have good lives.

The waiting is killing me! There is a never ending string off hatching here. My blue Muscovey is sitting on a ton of duck eggs now.
