Husband and I are both retired - we are on a small farm with horses, chickens, dogs and cats. We are in eastern Ontario so get the full brunt of all the seasons. Summer means drought and temps up to 35 C and winter is ice storms, heavy snow and cold to -30 C. We are at the edge of the Canadian Shield, so the land is very rocky, and lots of lakes and evergreens. History - we were keeping meat and layers (chickens, turkey's and geese) several years ago and are now getting back into chickens - layers only at this point - since I'm retired, I'm home more and can take it on again. Hobbies include photography and gardening. That's really about it.
