I have had a BR hen start crowing after I sold my roosters. But after we added roos back to our stock, she stopped.

These roos are all from my Light Brahma roo, Angus. He is a very calm, gentle roo and he takes great care of his hens. His sons are displaying same qualities. These roos can be purchased here at the farm. 5.00 for full Brahma roos and 2.00 for Brahma mix roos. All have nice feathering on legs.

I have several female cats that are ferocious hunters(or huntresses?) and they bring in some really big varmits...but when it comes to the chickens they don't want any part of them. One of my cats, Nala, follows me down to the chicken houses but steers clear of the ladies.

Australian spotted bantam ducks, blue runners, and rouens. The aussies are my favorites! They look like little toy ducks running around.

For some reason, I really get annoyed with "BFF" whether it's spoken OR typed...reminds me of what everyone called "valley girl" talk from the 80's..."Like, gag me with a spoon"

It is raining cows and horses here. Some of the hardest downpours I've seen in a while. One of our eastern counties just reported a tornado. YIKES!

They are in NC. The question nc wildlife officials have is..is it the Eastern cougar, or the Western cougar that people keep as 'pets' until they get too big or too hard to handle, then turn them loose. Which is really not the smartest thing in the world to do. I think that is why it is reported...
