We tried feeling for an egg this afternoon. Nothing.

I think she has a wing injury. Her right wing is tight against her body, while her left wing is more in a drooping position. See photo.

i just don’t think that is the case here, only because my friend has fed her 80 to 100 chickens this mix for years and she is very particular. I’ve also been feeding my flock this for 18 months. I’m still a newbie, so correct me if I’m wrong. Her tail is up and she seems to want to push.

Cracked corn, grains, etc. not exactly sure. I can’t feel anything, but haven’t really done a thorough exam.

She is about 18mos. She eats a special mix of food provided by local farmer. My friend raises chickens (has over 80) and that is the same feed she gives hers. she also has oyster shells. Did not see any injury, unless it’s internal. She is pushing likes she wants to lay.

She is much better now. The flock seems to be allowing her back in. She is getting private feedings of supreme quality. ☺️ thank you

I’m actually not sure of her breed. I’ll attach a pictur. She came from a farm with many different breeds, so probably a mutt. 😆 she is the largest by far.
