    Nutritonal Value of eggs

This is pretty interesting too: http://www.naerls.gov.ng/extmat/bulletins/Guineafowl.pdf "The guinea fowl egg commands premium market prices because of the gammy flavour and has better storage ability than the chicken egg. The egg shell does not crack easily due to thickness. The eggs are...

    Nutritonal Value of eggs

Does anyone know where I can find the nutritional value of guinea eggs? I've located chicken of all sizes, duck, geese, turkey, quail, but I haven't been able to find guinea. If anyone can lead me in the right direction I would really appreciate it.

    Farm Fair 2012

Thanks guys! It was lots of fun. The best part of Farm Fair is talking to all the people and sharing our animals with the people who visit. It's surprising what people don't know.

    New baby from guinea/chicken nest.

It was a surprise. My silly children are hoping it's a chicken/guinea cross. I'm highly doubtful about that. The little 1 did come from a brown chicken egg. Wyandotte face? We do have a few. It does have feathers on it's legs and I believe the chicken on the nest does have feathered legs. She is...

    New baby from guinea/chicken nest.

Found this little baby yesterday morning by a nest that was shared by a chicken and a guinea hen. We had just removed the guinea hen from the nest as she sat for way to long without hatching anything. The chicken had started sharing the nest about halfway through. When I went out in the morning...

My goose is sitting on eggs do I need to isolate her from the flock?

Not really except if I'm selling them and someone only wants a purebred goose.

My goose is sitting on eggs do I need to isolate her from the flock?

We did have our girl separate from the other 2 geese as she decided to nest behind our A/C unit and the other 2 went to bed at night with the ducks. During the day they guarded the area where she nested. Once they hatched we let them stay together and they are raising the babies as 1 big family...
