I'm having a hard time with this because their comb and waddles don't turn red.... I'm going by comb size and shank size but I think this breed will keep us guessing until that 12ish week mark.
Definitely a very strange combo. I messaged Hoover's and they acted like they had no idea what I was talking about...but, I think you're right, I believe these are what's labeled now as a Mystic Onyx.
So....I purchased 4 "Southern Ramblers" today at TSC. The woman helping me was very kind but confused thinking they were Rustic Ramblers. What are these 5 toed, clean shanked, all black cuties??!! Has anyone tried contacting Hoover's to find out?
That's actually a huge relief to hear. I'm just so nervous that she's further along than I realize and that I'm going to overlook giving her some care that she may need. She def has had a noticeable change in her appetite.
I called the vet today and unfortunately, he doesn't have one... and i don't know how to draw blood. I may just have to be patient but I want to be sure I tend to her extra closely if she is because she's so young still.
She will be 5 months old next week, she still very young...i think that's what makes me nervous. I feel movement on her right side sometimes but then I wonder if its just digestion or a muscle moving/twitching haha
