BUT still has me stumped now, who is giving me the white egg? LOL augh. One of the 3 doesn't have much if any black "spots" on it, maybe it actually is a leghorn... Never know the way these hatcheries screw up shipments on a regular basis.
thank you again.
Well, mystery is solved... I know these white hens are the culprits of giving me my extra blue eggs! I was able to watch one lay this morning.
I had no idea, until this happened, there were any other types of "Easter Eggers" on the market. I thought they all were muffed and pea combed. :)...
That would sure be great, my kids picked these out from a farm store for me last year. They claimed they were listed as Easter Eggers but when I saw them I figured they were mislabeled. I put another thread about trying figure out what they were last April lol that would be great if this is what...

I love my Easter Eggers and he said they had them, but they were in same bin that also had leghorns... I said make sure you only get ones with the fluffy cheeks, if they...
BUMPING ... I was hoping to find an answer to this as my pullets are all new layers (I have 24 FS pullets, 2 4yr old FS & 10 2-3yr old banty's) and I am having this issue with the yolk breaking once I crack the egg ... I crack into a bowl first and 9x out of 10 the yolk will break on its own & I...
also, here is one of our hens... she gives dark brown eggs but not necessarily the "chocolate" eggs. We did have a Maran rooster a predator took from us and we think he was the daddy to our black hens we have 3 just like this one ~ one has more gold/bronze on the neck and the other has no color...
