These work great for raising/lowering temp on your lower wattage heat lamps. You can set lamp at one height and adjust temp with a dimmer switch. I use these plug-in dimmers.

Yes, Northern Ohio Michigan line. Dry fluffy snow isn't usually a problem it's the wet heavy snow that sticks to netting and the heavy ice storms can be troublesome also. My pens and netting are still going strong for almost 10 years now with taking some of the tips/ precautions mentioned above...

Can you line your can with a heavy duty plastic bag and leave your feed in waterproof bag it comes in that should stop any condensation from getting to your feed?
