Just because you don’t see movement does not mean that it’s dead. The thing is that when it gets that close to hatching time it’s so packed tight full in the egg that it can’t barely move anyway.
Earl is seven weeks old. He’s a pilgrim gander, but his eyes are not blue. Do they turn blue eventually ? Like gradually? I don’t remember if Charlie (my original gander who is Earl’s dad) had the blue eyes when he was that young but I kind of think he did.
