Silkied Ameraucana eggs Lavender and Black split to Lavender

I am really pleased with my transaction with @Thespoiledchicken . The eggs were packaged really well and only a couple didn't develop out of the 12+ that were sent. Unfortunately I had an incubator problem late in my hatch, so I ended up with only one survivor. I did eggtopsy the rest of my...

Silkied Ameraucana eggs Lavender and Black split to Lavender

I suspect the "I'll pass" is because it sounds like you have high demands for a backyard breeder project which came out as a bit demanding and borderline rude. She already has a waiting game list for eggs (I waited for almost a year) and can easily choose to have pleasant customers. ;)

Please move this to the "older birds" section. This section is for hatching eggs. Thanks!

Simons Family Chickens in Pasco has some serama, polish and silkie crosses. She occasionally has seramas, but I don't think she's seen much demand for them.

    Chicken Breed Focus - Showgirl

My showgirl, Fancy. I was so excited when I found out that a local hatcher was going to start selling showgirls. I really want to get my hands on a white showgirl, but beggars can't be choosers. ;)

Nope. I am working it through the BBB and my bank now. I believe his website is shut down now as well. The good news is that my bank has refunded my money (pending the investigation) and is resolving it through the VISA merchant system.

Review by '' on item 'Q-34 Coop'

After multiple excuses, the supplier will not deliver the product, AFTER accepting payment of $1509. He also has not returned my money.

    Q-34 Coop

If any of you were considering buying a coop from "Amish Style Chicken Coops," be warned. I ordered one in May and promised a 6-8 week lead time. After that lead time had passed and I hadn't heard anything, I send an inquiry and was given a story about backordered windows. Finally after numerous...

I'll definitely post an update. :) I'm really glad I had an existing coop that I was replacing. If I was trying to figure out where to keep chicks that had grown out, I would be panicked. P.S. Cute newt!

As far as I've read, they can live to around 6 to 7 years, or longer. I've had the same thoughts on how to maintain egg numbers within the flock. And egg production can depend a lot on the breed. I have a marans that is 3 and lays 4-5 eggs almost every week during the summer. But I haven't...
