Sunshine yesterday and today. Cloudy days ahead. Baked a pink banana squash and saved seeds. I had to get a new indoor/outdoor thermometer as the old one quit. Had a terrible time getting the outdoor unit to work. Tried different batteries and put batteries in and out several times nothing. DW... -

I had something happen Thursday. First I am ok. I thought I was having a TIA and went to the ER. Ran a bunch of tests and out of there 4 hours later. No conclusion was given. DW went over the test results and she says I had a seizure. Anyhow follow up with GP Wednesday and neurologist 12 - 18. -

I think you got lucky. Others have tried and failed. It works on some reptiles like alligators. -

Grow ornamentals that can be eaten. I bought 2 to eat from the ornamental bin after Halloween for 75% off. -

41 and mist with a high of 47 ugh. Another wet cloudy day. Did not check the mail due to the rain. Very few mice compared to last year. Maybe the cats that are not mine helped. -

Yesterday during the heat of the day about 52 and sunny. I sat outside at the picnic table and cracked walnuts. Radio and dog for company. Pleasant. I love being outside on sunny days. I have about a gallon of nut meats so far. Walnut pie for Thanksgiving. Nuts for baked goods all year. -

I did that some years ago while building my cabin. A tall older woman employee at the lumber hardware store looked sad all the time. I told her I come in here so often just to see you. She said you are so full of it. I said you are right but I got you to smile. I would tell her when she helped... -

Yesterday got to 70 and today low 50s. Mowed leaves and added them to compost pile. Here is a positive comment. My pharmacy has an employee that knows my name and smiles. Nice person. My DW uses another one and I usually do not need to tell them anything. They just know and get here meds. Such... -

Warming trend here. I found a good deal on squash/pumpkin. Walmart has their decorative squash marked 75% off. I bought a nice large pink one to eat. I can tell it is in the maxima group. I will save seed. Might be mixed but could be interesting. -

At war with mice. They are getting in the garage. Bait is useless they will not eat the two different brands 2 different ingredients. Barely touched the homemade last year. Warfrin was the best but not available. Traps are set. My indicator is sunflower seeds. Any around will eat those. -

Coffee in hand. 28 another hard freeze. High of 45 with peeks of sun. A lot of leaves came down with the freeze. The mulberry tree went from green to naked. Now I can gather the last of the leaves. When it gets light out I will crsck some walnuts outside and bring inside to remove the nut meats...
