Picked 2 persimmons yesterday and still a little pucker. Let them ripen more indoors. Meader variety. Can be seedless but a few seeds sometimes. Produces a few male flowers. No wild ones in my area.
Often store tomatoes are greenhouse raised. Parthenocarpy is preferred for greenhouse growing. No pollination worries. Still pollination occurs but they do not want to take chances.
